I was wondering, how long does it usually take to repair locks?

It all depends on the type of lock and the type of repair needed. Some locks can be easily repaired, some have to be replaced completely. Also, with the wide range of residential, auto, and commercial locks it’s really hard to say exactly how long it takes. The best way to prepare for an accurate quote is to know everything about the lock that needs repaired. Such as the make, how old it is, and what is the damage.

I was wondering if you could help me out in understanding how lock bumping can be prevented? I’ve heard that there are locks that are a little more expensive but are lock bump proof. Please help this crazy old italian.

Okay, thank you. That was very informative. Also, I had another question. What exactly is rekeying?

I have a question, when someone calls your service… how do you know that its really their house, car, office, safe that they need unlocked?

Yeah, I’ve always wondered what “rekeying” was. Also, how do you jam your ignition?

Oh wow, I never knew that about rekeying. I am assuming rekeying is a lot more effective than just buying a new lock set?
